Turkey Provolone Pinwheels

"The deli sells 20 pinwheels for $10 and they vanish at every party. These are dead simple — roll, slice, done. Make them the night before and you're a hero."

The Game Plan

  1. Mix cream cheese, Dijon mustard, and garlic powder until smooth.

  2. Spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture across each tortilla, edge to edge.

  3. Layer turkey slices, provolone, and spring mix evenly across each tortilla, leaving a 1-inch border at the top edge.

  4. Roll each tortilla tightly from the bottom, keeping it as snug as possible. The cream cheese acts as glue.

  5. Wrap each roll tightly in plastic wrap. Refrigerate at least 1 hour (overnight is best — they firm up and slice cleaner).

  6. Unwrap and trim the uneven ends. Slice each roll into 5 pinwheels.
