The Game Plan

  1. Set out 5 mason jars or airtight containers (16 oz size works best).

  2. Add 1/2 cup rolled oats to each jar.

  3. Spoon 1/4 cup Greek yogurt into each jar.

  4. Pour 1/2 cup milk into each jar.

  5. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of honey into each jar. Add a small splash of vanilla and a tiny pinch of salt.

  6. Stir each jar well until everything is combined. You want the oats fully submerged in the liquid.

  7. Top each jar with 1/2 cup of frozen mixed berries. Don't stir them in -- they'll thaw overnight and create a nice fruity layer on top.

  8. Seal the jars and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 4 hours.

  9. In the morning, stir everything together and eat cold, or microwave for 1-2 minutes if you prefer warm oats.

The Day 2 Evolution

Blend a jar with a frozen banana and extra milk for a quick smoothie

Warm up the oats and spread them in a baking dish with brown sugar on top for a lazy baked oatmeal

Stir in a scoop of protein powder after thawing for a post-workout meal
