The Game Plan

  1. Place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker fat-side up.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, ketchup, and sriracha.

  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4 hours.

  4. Carefully remove the pork to a cutting board.

  5. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker.

  6. In a small cup, mix the cornstarch and cold water into a smooth slurry.

  7. Cook on HIGH with the lid off for 15 more minutes.

  8. Give it one final stir and let it sit with the lid on for 10 minutes.
